And already I feel so behind.
My bachelor's degree is in Middle Level Education, which means by the time I am done I will be able to teach all of those hormonially charged adolescents grades 4-8.
I love kids this age! They are soo much fun... They get sarcasm and can hold a conversation with you, and you don't have to walk them to the bathroom, or have them wipe their noses on your pants. YIKES.
Anyway, back to being behind after five days.
The summer classes are five weeks long, five days a week. So anytime homework is assigned it must be completed by the next day. I must say, I really enjoyed have the day in between the classes of fall and spring semesters.
I decided to keep a blog because it is such a stressful time and I feel that being able to take out my aggressions online will help. It will also be awesome to keep tabs on what I have done over the next year, and hopefully be able to continue my blog as a first year teacher.
Lets face it... kids are crazy, and I am crazy enough to know that I can make a difference... even if it is only one kid at a time...and even though I may only reach one a year... one is enough.
